Position Overview: This internship is designed to provide you with invaluable experience, working directly alongside our skilled team members and management. This role is a perfect opportunity to fulfill school requirements and immerse yourself in all aspects of golf course maintenance. As an intern, you’ll gain exposure to both the technical and leadership aspects of turf management. You will develop a diverse skill set that will set you apart in the competitive world of turf management. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in hand watering greens, ensuring optimal moisture levels, and collecting important data for course health. • Support the application of fertilizers and chemicals to maintain vibrant, healthy turf across the course. • Operate various state-of-the-art equipment used in the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course. • Take on leadership roles by guiding small teams to effectively complete maintenance and construction projects. Requirements: Candidate must be enrolled in a 2/4-year turf program, possess a degree in a related field, or have equivalent work experience deemed sufficient to fulfill the duties of the position. Either enrolled in a 2- or 4-year turf program, internship in turf-related field, or equivalent work experience. Compensation: $24 per hour.
