The Back 9 Pub at Heritage Hill Golf Course is a high-energy, community-focused restaurant located directly on our beautiful 18-hole property in Lakeville, MA. We serve golfers, local families, leagues, outings, private events, and year-round members.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, elevate the guest experience, and help us take the Back 9 Pub to the next level.
Position Summary
The Restaurant General Manager oversees all day-to-day operations of the Back 9 Pub, including staff leadership, FOH excellence, financial performance, hiring, training, scheduling, inventory management, marketing coordination, and event support.
This is a key leadership role within the Heritage Hill property, and the GM will collaborate closely with ownership and the golf course management team.
Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
Oversee all daily restaurant operations with a hands-on leadership style
Ensure consistent, high-quality service standards for golfers and public guests
Hire, train, schedule, and manage all FOH and BOH staff
Maintain a positive, engaging, and professional work environment
Financial & Administrative
Manage labor costs, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
Monitor weekly and monthly financial performance
Implement systems for efficiency, cost control, and quality improvement
Partner with ownership on menu strategy, pricing, and budgets
Guest Experience
Ensure excellent hospitality and smooth operations during peak hours
Build relationships with guests, members, and league players
Respond promptly to feedback and resolve issues professionally
Events & Marketing
Work with the golf operations team on tournaments, events, and outings
Support private events and special promotions at the pub
Coordinate with marketing to drive revenue growth and brand visibility
Qualifications
3–5+ years of restaurant management experience
Demonstrated success managing FOH and/or BOH teams
Strong financial acumen (labor management, inventory, cost control)
Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
Experience with golf facilities or event-heavy venues is a plus

Pay: $65,501.80 - $78,883.88 per year
