About the Role

Prepares food as directed by the Chef or General Manager of the club. Cooks to order promptly and issues to servers as ordered based on details provided by recipe cards to ensure menu plate consistency, i.e., preparation, portioning and garnishing of foods. Provide excellence in product and maintains cost controls.
• *Duties and responsibilities**
• Prepare and cook menu items during lunch service
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Ensure food quality and consistency
• Manage prep and keep track of kitchen inventory
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

• *Qualifications**
• Two to three years of experience as a line cook in a Hotel or Restaurant fast paced kitchen
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent physical condition and stamina
• 3 year Food handlers card (optional)
High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
