Restaurant Manager

Casual dining restaurant in the beautiful Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club community is looking for a Restaurant Manager. Full time. Mornings, Nights, Weekends & Holidays required. Knowledge/Training: • A minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience is required • High school diploma or equivalent • Good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff Essential Tasks: • Control labor, liquor and food costs • Strong communication skills, motivated and dependable • Passionate about culinary excellence and guest experience and customer relations • Maintain operation par levels of staff tools to ensure efficiency and quality service • Create programs of micro management from opening and closing procedures to cleaning duties, rotation of shifts, and cleanliness of facility • Work with the executive chef and vendors to determine menu items and pricing • Direct hiring, training and scheduling of food service personnel • Banquet knowledge & experience • Motivating; monitoring employee performance • Set and adhere to budgets for the operation • Ordering supplies; marketing • Creating and maintaining a budget • Supervise operation of bar to maximize profitability, minimize legal liability and conform to alcoholic beverage regulations • Comply with all health and safety regulations • Create new and innovative ways to acquire and maintain customer loyalty • Know the meaning of suggestive selling and how to implement these ideas into every day practices • Train staff members when a problem arises and how to address it and when • Control labor costs without compromising quality standards • Prepare reports relevant to your department as requested • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to inform staff of specials, train and develop staff and foster a positive team spirit • Determine standards of performance as a basis to review progress of personnel • Ability to work long shifts with excessive, standing, walking and lifting All applicants will be subject to a background check.
