WORK AND PLAY AT DATAW - Employees enjoy free golf play
Full and part time Greenskeepers are needed for the golf courses on Dataw Island Club, Inc. Greenskeepers are responsible for maintaining the grass, turf, grounds, and plants, at the courses using standard manual and power lawn care equipment. Duties include but are not limited to mowing and weeding grass, laying sod, planting grass and fertilizing. Some experience using lawnmowers, leaf blowers, edger, and trimmers is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
The ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds, and to sit, stand, kneel and walk for long periods, is requiredQualified applicants will be comfortable working outdoors for long periods in varied weather conditionsApplicants must be comfortable with the regular use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axesSome previous experience as a landscaper or horticulturalist is strongly preferred, but not requiredExperience operating powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, leaf blowers, chainsaws preferredSuccessful pre-employment background checkExcellent benefits packages for full time employees to include, health, vision, dental, short term/long term disability, 401(k) with employer match, free golf play, holiday and vacation pay.
