Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Superintendent and lead the maintenance and enhancement of our premier golf course. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of course management, ensuring the course remains in optimal condition for players and events. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and turf management will drive the success of our facility. We are seeking a motivated leader passionate about creating an exceptional golfing experience through meticulous care, innovative landscaping, and sustainable practices.
Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of the golf course, including turf care, landscaping, irrigation, and tree care to maintain pristine conditions.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of lawn care, gardening, and overall course presentation.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for landscaping, lawn care, construction projects, and equipment upkeep.
• Oversee irrigation systems to optimize water usage while maintaining healthy turf and plant life.
• Coordinate with contractors for construction projects such as bunker renovations or course modifications, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Monitor environmental conditions and adjust horticultural practices accordingly to promote sustainable land management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies across all maintenance activities.
Experience
• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or turf management within a golf course or similar outdoor environment.
• Supervising experience leading teams responsible for lawn care, gardening, tree care, or general groundskeeping.
• Strong background in horticulture practices including irrigation systems, plant health care, and soil management.
• Knowledge of construction processes related to golf course development or renovation projects.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and coordinate multiple projects efficiently.
• Familiarity with maintenance equipment operation and safety protocols is highly desirable.
