The following positions are where the Intern Opportunities exist: Equipment Manager Equipment Technician Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Irrigation Foreman Application ForemanQUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent education The ability to understand and follow directions and operate golf course machinery* MUST be a transitioning service memberRESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES Perform other functions and routine golf course maintenance activities as directed by the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations OR Assistant Golf Course Superintendents* Be thoroughly trained for the procedures of each task prior to performing the task* Follow the guidelines in the Golf Course Maintenance Operations Manual for each specific task* Be able to perform specific tasks relative to training to include: o Line trim trees, shrubs, posts, etc. o Edge cart paths, sprinkler heads, bunkers, etc. o Ball mark repair o Divot filling o Sod laying o Utility vehicle operations o Blower operations o Hand raking bunkers o Walk top dress equipment operation o Backhoe operation o Miscellaneous hand tool operations* Maintain logs for the operation, maintenance, and gas usage of each machine* Perform daily tas
