The Grounds Crew Employee
The Grounds Crew employee is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. Multiple full-time and part-time positions available immediately.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred.
• Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping.
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations.
• Ability to give oral and written instructions.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
• Must be dependable.
Responsibilities:
• Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
