About the Role
The Sanctuary Golf Club, a prestigious member-owned, private golf club located in Sanibel, FL, is accepting resumes for two dynamic positions: Full-time, year-round Wellness Coordinator (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.) Part-time, Seasonal Wellness Attendant, October 2026 - May 2027 (2-3 weekdays 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., plus Saturdays 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) The Wellness Center is a spectacular 5,000 square foot facility with a 1,800 square foot fitness room housing cardio and strength training equipment. There is also a dedicated stretching room, a 900-square foot studio, a spa with two treatment rooms, appointed locker rooms and a heated sports pool. Our Members and Guests enjoy friendly competition and exercise on our tennis, pickleball, and bocce courts while also participating in a vibrant calendar of social and wellness activities. These roles support the Director of Court Sports and Wellness in the day-to-day operations of the Wellness Center and all associated wellness programs, sports and activities ensuring Members and Guests receive exceptional, personalized service while maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment that reflects the Club's standards of excellence. Requirements Greets Members and Guests entering the Wellness Center. Handles incoming calls and emails, providing Courts, Massage Therapy, and Wellness Center information and scheduling. Maintains cleanliness of the Wellness Center area, pool deck; wipes down fitness equipment regularly. Monitors sign-in procedure for facility, classes, personal training, and massage therapy. Registers Guests and records charges. Monitors daily billing of all charges. Records Member information for seminars and presentations. Attends all training sessions and regular staff meetings; researches assigned projects and topics as required. Designs promotional/marketing materials, including event flyers to increase awareness of and interest in events and programs. Oversees website content for the department. Monitors exercise equipment, maintains records, and preventative maintenance visits. Monitors and maintains contact with Independent Contractors. Maintains records of after-hours access to Wellness Center. Promotes racquets lessons, personal training, fitness classes, and massage services; schedules lessons and services. Works collaboratively across the operation, willingly assisting with various court grooming and maintenance tasks, facility upkeep, and other tasks as needed to support the Wellness team. Assists with special events in other Club departments when necessary. Maintains fitness and aquatics areas towel supply. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience and other Requirements: Outstanding professionalism, helpfulness, friendliness and exceptional customer service and people skills. Member-first mindset and commitment to exceptional service. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across all departments. Computer proficient with MS Office Suite, ability to become proficient within industry software programs (e.g. Club Essential). Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment, staying well-informed and resourceful. Demonstrated ability to consistently maintain composure and tact when faced with challenging and/or stressful situations. CPR/AED and First aid certification required (training provided). Must be dependable, responsible, and committed to reporting to work as scheduled. Previous private club experience is preferred.
