Job Summary
Brooklawn Country Club is seeking a dependable and professional Front Gate & Security Attendant to serve as the first point of contact for members, guests, employees, and vendors entering the Club. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment while delivering exceptional member service.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with security, hospitality, customer service, concierge, or gate attendant experience who enjoys interacting with people while maintaining a strong attention to safety and detail.
What You'll Do
Greet members, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Monitor and control access to Club property
Verify guest authorizations, memberships, and vendor access
Maintain visitor and vendor logs
Monitor vehicle traffic entering and exiting the Club
Conduct routine security checks of Club facilities and grounds
Ensure designated buildings are secured, alarms are activated, and lights are turned off at closing
Report security concerns, incidents, maintenance issues, or safety hazards
Assist management and emergency personnel when necessary
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous security, customer service, hospitality, or gate attendant experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong judgment and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
