Position: Girls Golf Head Coach
Position Summary: Archbishop Hoban High School is seeking a Girls Golf Head Coach to join our Athletic program. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a track record of successful coaching, and a commitment to total program development. Additionally, the candidate will coach golf in support of the mission of Archbishop Hoban High School and incorporate our core values into the program. This is a seasonal stipend position.

Position Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the development and vision of the program.
· Maintain standards of team behavior and regard for team rules and expectations.
· Promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline and respect.
· Solid knowledge of player development specific to high school golf players.
· Commitment to the program and hold all students and adults associated with the program to the same standards.
· Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to meet the needs and improve the abilities of student-athletes.
· Coordinate the development and promotion of the golf program.
· Supervise practices and assist with both individual and team development.
· Maintain golf equipment.
· Attend staff development meetings, clinics and other professional activities to improve coaching performance.
· Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Position Qualifications:
· Active Ohio Pupil Activity Permit or the ability to acquire one.
· Successful completion of online coaching training modules.
· Supervise competition and practice during after-school hours as well as on weekends.
· Proven record of supporting and motivating others.
· Complete an appropriate criminal records check and have attended or are willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training are required for this position.
