Seeking an experienced Director of Golf for a premier luxury resort in Phoenix. This leadership role is responsible for all aspects of the golf operation, including daily operations, golf course maintenance, revenue generation, sales performance, and delivering exceptional guest experience.
The Director of Golf will oversee the Golf Pro Shop, Outside Services, Golf Sales Manager, and Golf Superintendent while leading budgeting, staffing, scheduling, merchandising, tournaments, and all golf programming. This role partners closely with the Golf Superintendent to ensure exceptional course conditions, agronomy standards, and safety practices, while collaborating with resort sales to drive tournaments, group outings, and golf revenue. A strong understanding of Phoenix's seasonal weather patterns and their impact on course conditions and operations is essential.
The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience overseeing golf operations at a large luxury resort. Strong financial acumen, team leadership, guest engagement, and a proven ability to grow golf revenues are critical for success. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
