Position: Outside Operations Attendant ________________________________________________________________________________
PLACE OF WORK: Golf Operations
JOB OVERVIEW: Assist Golfers with carts and equipment and maintain an effective outside service area and practice facility.
REPORTS TO: Outside Operations Supervisor
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Golf operations staff, Professional Staff, Front Office Management, Restaurant, Accounting, Engineering, Golf Maintenance Staff
External: Club member/guests/visitors, company representatives, service personnel, other club personnel.

SPECIFICATIONS: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.

Qualifications:
Essential:
High school graduate. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with member/guests/visitors, management and co-workers to their understanding, both in person and by telephone. Ability to provide legible communication and directions.
Desirable:
Some college or training in hospitality industry. Previous experience in golf. Knowledge of computers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Display a professional appearance and attitude and remain courteous to members and guests at all times Ensure the security of all golf equipment in storage Pick up and drop off golf bags at bag drop Valet park member and guest cars if and when applicable Clean and store clubs for members and guests Daily set-up and breakdown of learning center Replenish range balls as needed, pick as needed, anticipate and comply with member and guest needs while using learning center, monitor first tee as needed Remove rental clubs for use by guests, clean and put away after use Store golf carts Remove golf carts from storage area, put back at end of day Clean carts after each use, following the cleaning checklist Place score cards, tees, towels, pencils, ice waters(if applicable), and on each cart prior to play When carts break down, tow carts to cart maintenance facility Assist in maintenance and repair of carts when necessary Each employee is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of performing. When it seems there is nothing left to do, there always is. STAY BUSY at all times!!!!!!!!!
The Golf Course operates seven days per week, with flexible hours per day. I am aware that business demands may make it necessary to change my accustomed shift. I am also aware that the number of my scheduled hours may fluctuate with business levels.
