Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club and Palmetto Hall Golf & Country Club, both part of Heritage Golf Group, are two of Hilton Head Island's premier golf destinations. Together, these clubs offer exceptional golf, racquet sports, dining, and hospitality experiences in two unique settings. As Heritage Golf Group continues to grow, we are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Membership Sales Coordinator to support membership sales across both properties.
Position Summary
The Membership Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving new membership sales for both Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club and Palmetto Hall Golf & Country Club. Serving as the primary point of contact for prospective Members, this individual will guide prospects through the entire membership sales process - from initial inquiry and club tours to enrollment and onboarding. Additionally, this individual will work closely with realtors and closing attorneys to assure accuracy of new resident paperwork and applications exclusively at Palmetto Hall.
Success in this role requires a proactive sales approach, exceptional relationship-building skills, strong organizational skills and a passion for hospitality. The Membership Sales Coordinator will actively network throughout the Hilton Head community, develop strategic partnerships, and create opportunities to grow membership at both clubs while delivering an outstanding experience to every prospective Member.
This role works closely with Club leadership and department teams at both locations to ensure a seamless transition for new Members and to support continued membership growth.
Compensation
$21.00 per hourCompetitive commission program based on membership sales
Essential Responsibilities
Membership Sales
Drive new membership sales for both Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club and Palmetto Hall Golf & Country Club.Manage the complete membership sales process, including prospecting, club tours, follow-up, closing, and onboarding.Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospective Members through consistent outreach and relationship management.Meet or exceed established membership sales goals.Accurately prepare membership agreements and related documentation.Maintain detailed records of sales activity and prospect interactions using CRM and club management systems.Business Development & Community Engagement
Develop relationships with local businesses, real estate professionals, property managers, hotels, and community organizations to generate membership leads.Represent both clubs at networking events, community functions, and membership events throughout Hilton Head Island.Generate referrals through existing Members, local partnerships, and community outreach.Identify creative opportunities to increase awareness of both clubs and grow membership.Member Experience
Deliver a welcoming and personalized experience for prospective and new Members.Conduct engaging club tours that showcase each club's unique amenities and offerings.Ensure a smooth onboarding experience by coordinating with Club leadership and department teams.Build lasting relationships with Members to support long-term engagement and satisfaction.Collaboration & Administration
Work closely with Club leadership, Golf Operations, Racquet Sports, Food & Beverage, and Marketing teams to support membership initiatives.Assist with membership events, open houses, and promotional activities.Create marketing flyers and engaging social media posts promoting events and overall club awareness.Maintain accurate membership records, reporting, and sales documentation.Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline progress, and membership trends.
Qualifications
Previous experience in sales, business development, hospitality, private clubs, real estate, luxury services, concierge services or a related customer-focused industry preferred.Proven ability to build relationships, generate new business, and achieve sales goals.Outgoing, self-motivated, and comfortable networking within the local community.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities.Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office; club management software experience is a plus.Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and club events.
