BallenIsles Country Club, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Food and Beverage
Supervisor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn,
contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour Key Responsibilities
Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner
Acts as a liaison between the service staff and kitchen team to ensure timely and effective communication
Ensures the restaurant and related facilities are clean, well-stocked, and organized; inspects equipment and notifies the Restaurant Manager of any maintenance or repair needs
Verifies room setup according to reservation or event requirementsEnsures all side work is completed, including cleaning equipment and storage areas
Assists in coordinating special functions with the Outlet Manager or Food &
Beverage Manager
Assists the Food & Beverage Manager with maintaining food and beverage inventory
Assists with conducting pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes,
house counts, and other operational updates
Assists with the completion of daily operational reportsPerforms daily operational duties, including serving tables, bussing tables,
seating guests, room service, and general clerical or cashier responsibilities
Occasionally assists department managers with interviewing, training,
planning, assigning, and directing work, as well as providing recommendations regarding hiring, performance evaluations, recognition, and disciplinary actions
Addresses guest concerns, resolves issues when possible, and communicates them to management as needed
Assists in coordinating team members, including Hosts, Servers, and
Expediters
Assists in monitoring business volume forecasts and planning staffing levels,
productivity, costs, and other expenses accordingly
Incorporates safe work practices into all job dutiesMaintains regular and reliable attendancePerforms other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory role, preferably in a country club environment
Strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50
pounds
Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position
