Golf Course Maintenance

Birkdale Golf Club is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This is a full-time position (part-time positions available) and a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy working outdoors in a team environment while helping to maintain and improve the quality of our golf course. Skills, Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate equipment used in daily golf course maintenance (mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, etc.) • Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs as directed • Perform general landscape maintenance such as raking bunkers, edging, trimming, and debris cleanup • Assist with irrigation and drainage system maintenance as directed by the Superintendent or Assistant • Fertilization and daily course upkeep as needed • Safely operate equipment and maintain awareness of members and staff while on the course • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions Key Attributes: • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism • Willingness to learn and follow instructions • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Strong work ethic and attention to detail Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance eligibility for full-time employment. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. Weekend and holiday work is required as part of the golf course maintenance schedule.
