Pay Range
• Golf Pro Shop Specialist I (hourly): $17.32/min - $19.06/mid - $20.79/max
• Golf Pro Shop Specialist II (hourly): $19.14/min - $21.11/mid - $23.08/max
• Golf Pro Shop Specialist III (hourly): $21.16/min - $23.28/mid - $25.40/max
Position Summary
This intermittent role provides outstanding customer service, ensuring that guests are warmly greeted, assisted, checked in, and informed about all activities and events at the Aspen Golf Club. The Pro Shop Specialist supports golf shop operations, retail, events, and overall guest experience while upholding the Club’s standards of professionalism and excellence.
Supervision Exercised and Received
This position reports directly to the Golf Managers and the Golf Professional staff.
Essential Job Functions Guest Service & Engagement
• Provides friendly, welcoming, and professional service to all guests, consistently exceeding customer service standards.
• Assists guests with reservations, check-ins, and questions about golf instruction, leagues, tournaments, policies, and rules.
Retail & Point of Sale Operations
• Handles retail transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and POS system operations.
• Assists with retail inventory by stocking, organizing, reporting, and supporting merchandising efforts.
• Supports sales initiatives and promotional events to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Administrative & Technology Support
• Uses reservation, POS, and other computer systems to support golf shop operations efficiently.
• Answers and directs phone calls professionally, providing information and assistance as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
• Demonstrates experience in retail, hospitality, or golf operations (preferred).
• Shows strong skills in customer service, cash handling, reservation management, inventory tracking, and technology systems.
