Steward / Dishwasher Salisbury Country Club – Midlothian, VA Full-Time or Part-Time | Morning Shift Pay: $16–$18 per hour Join Our Culinary Team at Salisbury Country Club Salisbury Country Club is hiring an AM Steward / Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and ready for daily service. This role is ideal for someone dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. At Salisbury, we take pride in delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests. That starts behind the scenes with a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen. Responsibilities • Operate the dish machine to clean china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools • Hand-wash larger cookware and specialty items as needed • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish room, pot area, and back-of-house spaces • Inspect, properly store, and transport clean kitchen equipment and wares as needed • Assist with stocking shelves, stations, and storage areas with clean wares, smallwares, and kitchen supplies • Help receive, organize, and put away kitchen deliveries and supply orders • Remove trash and recycling and keep receptacles clean and lined • Sweep, mop, and maintain floors and work areas throughout the shift • Support the culinary team by keeping equipment and wares available, organized, and ready for service • Follow all sanitation, safety, and cleaning procedures Qualifications • Reliable and punctual • Able to work morning shifts • Able to stand for extended periods • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen • Weekend and holiday availability preferred • Dishwashing, stewarding, receiving, or kitchen experience is helpful, but not required Benefits • Competitive pay • Employee meals • Professional and supportive work environment • Opportunities for growth within club operations • Benefits available for eligible full-time team members Schedule Morning shifts based on business needs, banquet volume, and seasonal operations.
