About the Role
Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Restaurant Cook to join our team. This position requires strong culinary skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality meals. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
This is a hands‑on role suited for someone with restaurant (not fast‑food) cooking experience who can manage daily kitchen operations with professionalism and consistency.
Duties
Prepare, cook, and season food items according to recipes, standards, or personal expertise.
Bake, roast, steam, broil, and prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other menu items.
Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately.
Assist in menu planning with supervisory staff, considering cost, events, and available resources.
Portion, arrange, and garnish dishes for service to waitstaff or patrons.
Receive, stock, organize, and rotate kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, utensils, and work areas following safe food‑handling practices.
Prepare items for later service, including cooling, packaging, labeling, and freezing food.
Assist with inventory tasks as requested.
Follow all required safety practices, including wearing protective gloves and non‑slip footwear.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
1–2 years of restaurant cooking experience preferred.
Experience in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen organization.
Strong work ethic and desire to grow within a hospitality environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and handling kitchen tools.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
