Warwick Country Club, a premier private club overlooking Narragansett Bay, is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and creative professional to contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.Supervise kitchen staff, providing leadership, training, and support.Oversee daily food prep and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.Maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance with all health and safety regulations.Contribute to menu development, incorporating seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies to maintain cost efficiency.Ensure a smooth and efficient service, particularly during high-volume events.Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, preferably in an upscale dining or country club setting.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Knowledge of various cooking techniques, menu planning, and food safety standards.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.ServSafe certification preferred.Why Join Us?
