Duties Monitor pool activity continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations using first aid and CPR techniques Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning, chemical checks, and equipment inspections Assist guests with pool access, provide excellent guest services, and answer questions about facilities Perform routine pool cleaning, skimming debris, vacuuming, and ensuring water quality standards are met Maintain safety equipment such as rescue tubes, life rings, and first aid kits in proper working order Support overall pool area cleanliness by tidying up surrounding spaces Qualifications Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR and first aid training Proven swimming ability with comfort in deep water environments Prior lifeguard experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Ability to perform heavy lifting related to pool maintenance supplies and equipment Knowledge of basic pool maintenance procedures such as chemical testing and cleaning techniques Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during scheduled shifts Embark on an energetic journey where safety meets fun!
