Position Overview:
The Member Services Coordinator (MSC) is an important forward-facing role within the organization that combines communications, marketing, and front desk operations. As a central figure in delivering exceptional member experiences, the MSC will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with the membership, managing the front desk, and promoting club activities through targeted marketing efforts. The MSC will be a self-motivated, organized, and outgoing individual who is committed to fostering an environment where members feel valued and engaged.
Job Summary: Essential Functions
Front Desk Operations:
• Serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, always ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
• Coordinate reservations, membership inquiries, and assist with any club-related questions.
• Maintain a well-organized and efficient front desk area, supporting seamless daily operations.
• Be proactive in addressing member needs and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Communications & Marketing:
• Oversee club communications and implement regular updates across multiple platforms, including email, website, and social media, to ensure members stay informed.
• Develop and create marketing materials such as newsletters, flyers, posters, and social media posts to promote club activities.
• Organize and execute photo opportunities for events and member activities to create engaging content.
• Assist in the coordination and promotion of special events, working with Food & Beverage and service teams to ensure successful execution.
Administrative Duties:
• Assist with new member data entry and maintenance of membership records.
• Handle inbound calls and direct them appropriately, serving as the gatekeeper for all communications.
• Assist with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and other administrative needs related to events.
• Support the administrative team and collaborate on other tasks as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or at least two years of relevant experience.
• Experience with website content management and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is preferred.
• Skills & Attributes:
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building positive relationships.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in all communications and materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining proactive and self-motivated.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and management to execute initiatives effectively.

General Requirements:
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks with little supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in all matters.
• Knowledge of JONAS software or similar club management software is a plus.
• Experience with computer graphics software, including In-Design, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and other related software applications.
Compensation / Benefits:
Pay: Commensurate with experience.
