We are seeking energetic and service-oriented servers to join our team. Some experience is required, but we are willing to train the right candidates. You will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for providing our members’ and their guests with great dining experiences. Servers must be willing and able to communicate courteously and politely with members daily as well as maintain a professional demeanor, work harmoniously with others, and strive to exceed member expectations.
Additional information: This is a NON-TIPPED position as our club is a non-tipping club. Evening and weekend availability required. Uniforms, staff meals, and on-site parking are provided. Pay range is $18-$22/hour commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Prepare restaurant tables with particular attention to cleanliness and order
· Greet to members/guests promptly
· Present restaurant menus and help customers select food and beverages
· Take and serve orders
· Bus, clean, and reset tables
· Prep or side work
· Assist kitchen, such as plating and garnishing menu items
· Additional responsibilities as directed
Required Skills:
· High school diploma and at least 1 year of relevant work experience
· Ability to perform moderate physical work; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently, performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting.
· TIPS certification – if not certified, you will need to get certified (the club will cover the cost)
Required Work Habits:
· Regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability and promptness.
Working Conditions:
· Works primarily indoors and standing/walking for long periods.
*Benefit eligible if working at least 6 months, and at least 30 hours/week for 16 consecutive weeks.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
