Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Supervisor to lead our banquet service team in delivering exceptional event experiences. Responsibilities
Supervise banquet staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery
Coordinate with culinary teams to ensure proper food preparation, presentation, and timely service during events
Oversee setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety standards
Manage inventory control for banquet supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resources and reduce waste
Handle cash transactions and POS operations using systems such as Jona POS or ClubSelect POS accurately and efficiently
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures throughout all banquet activities
Assist with onboarding and developing team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce
Ability to lift, carry, and be on feet for extended periods
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a food service or hospitality environment, preferably in banquets or catering
Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
Experience managing food production for large-scale events
Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, staff training & development, and shift management
Knowledge of food safety standards, hospitality management practices, and customer service excellence
Casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable; hotel or catering experience is a plus
2–5 years of banquet or hospitality experience preferred
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Banquet Manager & Catering Sales Director
Works closely with Sales, Culinary, and Operations teams
