Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Eagle Creek is looking to hire for our Golf Maintenance Team. Employees will operate a variety of machinery and equipment in the performance of a variety of tasks in a golf course environment. This is the full-time position but will consider you for part-time position based on experience and scheduling options. Employees will perform a full range of duties assigned under the direction of Golf Course Management. If you like working outside and/or the game of Golf, then this may be a great opportunity. Examples of duties, but aren’t limited to the following: Mow and trim grass within the golf course, move and place tee markers; rake sand traps. Remove and dispose of litter or debris from golf course grounds. Operate edgers, weedeaters and backpack blowers. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to: Work independently in the absence of supervision. Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment in a safe and effective manner. Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow team members. Perform the physical requirements of the job. Example lift 50 LBS. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and to reach with hands and arms, including to sit and stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee regularly works in outside-weather conditions and frequently works near moving mechanical parts with the frequent exposure to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Personal Protective equipment is provided. Our hours are early morning -starting either at 5 or 5:30 AM. Tasks are performed seven days a week. . Our starting rate is $16.00 per hour – prior work experience will be considered.
