Some evening and Saturday availability may be requested as needed.</strong></p> <p> </p> <h1>About the Opportunity</h1> <p>Good 2 Great Golf is seeking an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Golf Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This role helps create an exceptional experience for every customer while supporting the daily operation of our indoor golf performance center.</p> <p>The Golf Operations Assistant reports directly to Michelle Schrab, Golf Operations Leader, and works closely with the Head Coach, instructors, fitness professionals, and other team members.</p> <h1>Position Overview</h1> <p><strong>Schedule</strong></p> <p>25–30 hours per week; weekday daytime availability required</p> <p><strong>Additional Hours</strong></p> <p>Some evenings and Saturdays as needed</p> <p><strong>Reports To</strong></p> <p>Golf Operations Leader</p> <p><strong>Employment Type</strong></p> <p>Part-time, hourly</p> <h1>What You’ll Do</h1> <h2>Customer Experience</h2> <ul> <li>Welcome customers, assist with check-in, and help create a friendly, professional environment.</li> <li>Answer customer questions by phone, email, and in person.</li> <li>Help customers understand and reserve bay rentals, lessons, memberships, coaching plans, events, and merchandise.</li> <li>Resolve routine customer concerns promptly and involve the Golf Operations Leader when needed.</li> </ul> <h2>Facility Operations</h2> <ul> <li>Open and/or close the facility according to established procedures.</li> <li>Prepare, inspect, and maintain TrackMan simulator bays and shared customer areas.</li> <li>Keep the academy clean, organized, safe, and ready for customers.</li> <li>Restock merchandise and supplies and assist with inventory organization and counts.</li> <li>Follow company policies, procedures, controls, and safe work practices.</li> </ul> <h1>Technology, Sales & Administrative Support</h1> <ul> <li>Help customers get started with TrackMan simulators and practice sessions.</li> <li>Learn and operate TrackMan, Sportsbox AI, Smart2Move Force Plates, Square, scheduling tools, and other technology used by Good 2 Great Golf.</li> <li>Process sales accurately using Square POS and follow established transaction procedures.</li> <li>Schedule and update lessons, bay reservations, and customer records.</li> <li>Assist instructors and staff with technology and operational needs during lessons, assessments, practice sessions, and special programs.</li> </ul> <h1>Marketing & Event Support</h1> <ul> <li>Assist with social media content, including capturing approved photos and short videos.</li> <li>Support email promotions, website updates, and community outreach as assigned.</li> <li>Help prepare and operate junior camps, leagues, clinics, tournament nights, corporate events, and other special events.</li> <li>Perform other duties that reasonably support customer service and facility operations.</li> </ul> <h1>What We’re Looking For</h1> <ul> <li>Friendly, outgoing, and committed to exceptional customer service.</li> <li>Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.</li> <li>Comfortable learning technology and assisting customers in a technology-based golf environment.</li> <li>Able to multitask, communicate clearly, and remain professional during busy periods.</li> <li>A positive team player who takes initiative and follows through.</li> <li>Interest in golf is strongly preferred; playing experience is helpful but not required.</li> </ul> <h1>Qualifications</h1> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li> <li>Customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, or front-desk experience preferred.</li> <li>Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.</li> <li>Experience with social media, scheduling software, or point-of-sale systems is a plus.</li> <li>Must be able to speak and write English fluently.</li> <li>Valid Arizona driver’s license required if operating a vehicle on behalf of the business.</li> </ul> <h1>Physical Requirements</h1> <ul> <li>Lift and carry up to 50 pounds to waist height.</li> <li>Stand for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.</li> <li>Perform repetitive actions, including computer and tablet entry.</li> <li>Possess the vision and hearing needed to safely perform essential duties.</li> </ul> <h1>Why Work at Good 2 Great Golf?</h1> <p>You’ll work alongside golf teaching professionals and a customer-focused team in a modern indoor golf performance center using TrackMan, Sportsbox AI, Smart2Move Force Plates, and TPI Golf Fitness.
