About the Role
GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for creating the first and last impressions of our club experience for the Members and their guests. Promote the facility amenities, programs, and the Club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service that aligns with the values, philosophies and standards of the club. Looking for coverage for every other weekend.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To provide excellence in guest service at all times. To meet and greet all members/guest who visit Daniel Island Golf Club. To adopt sound working practice in and around the Reception Area and familiarize yourself with the Standard Operating Procedures Manual.To answer the telephone in a polite manner, carry out restaurant reservations, general administration duties and to be the source of information for all members and guests queries.To ensure the Reception area is presented to a high standard at all times. To provide general administration assistance to the Membership and F&B FOH and Events Team. To comply with any reasonable instruction issued by your Manager. Changes in the business may occasionally require alterations in this job description and these will be agreed with the post holder as appropriate.
High school diploma preferredKnowledge of a high level of customer service to exclusive member clientele. Prefer previous experience in a “club” environment. Basic mathematical abilities.Must have the ability to quickly learn member’s names, likes and dislikes. Ability to use safety practices in carrying out job duties. Ability to proficiently function in a fast-paced environment. Ability to develop and utilize organizational skills. Ability to add, be multi-tasked, and plan and prepare for a demanding membership. Work schedules may vary; therefore, flexibility is necessary. Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays. Seasonal busy periods of business will require longer work schedules. The most common times are tournaments, holidays and special events.
