We are seeking a Banquet Supervisor to join our team and oversee all aspects of banquet operations across our prestigious clubs. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of events while maintaining the high service standards that Invited is known for. The Banquet Supervisor will be responsible for managing the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions, ensuring that every detail aligns with the club’s expectations and enhances the member and guest experience. This includes leading a team of banquet personnel, coordinating with sales and event teams, and maintaining compliance with safety and service guidelines.
The role involves recruiting, developing, and managing banquet staff through effective training and performance management programs that uphold Invited's standards of service excellence. Communication and coordination with the Event Sales Director and other departments are critical to ensuring proper staffing and flawless event delivery. The Banquet Supervisor will also oversee the timely service of food and beverages, monitor event progress, and handle post-event activities including member or guest feedback and accounting paperwork.
Additional responsibilities include managing room setups and breakdowns according to event specifics, executing opening procedures for the banquet department, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and ensuring sanitary conditions in compliance with service standards. The successful candidate will exhibit professionalism, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to accommodate last-minute changes or special requests gracefully.
This position reports directly to the Banquet Manager, Banquet Director, or Director of Food & Beverage and requires a hands-on approach in a fast-paced, dynamic club environment. The Banquet Supervisor must also actively participate in fostering a safe work environment, support company policies, and contribute to the club’s overall goals. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and working in varied environmental conditions. • Ability to use computer, Banquet Event Order (BEO), POS system
• Skilled in handling trays weighing 2 - 60 lbs., bottle openers, and wine tools
