As a Bartender joining the 2026 Cabana Pool team, you will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks throughout all club areas, including preparing garnishes, managing bar inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of the bar. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation standards, with an emphasis on precision and customer engagement. You will interact with a diverse clientele, greeting members and guests, taking and placing orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with banquet events. The position demands high attention to detail to uphold health and safety regulations regarding food and drink storage and handling.
This bartending position involves tasks such as inspecting and stocking the bar before opening, maintaining records of liquor, beer, and wine inventory, and preparing for and assisting in events held at the club. Candidates will participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed on the latest policies and service standards. Adherence to alcohol service laws and the ability to manage service responsibly, including the refusal of service when necessary, are also central responsibilities.
Physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, walking, climbing stairs, and handling weights up to 50 pounds, all in an environment that can be hot, humid, and noisy. Experience is valued, with a preference for candidates who have bartending experience of at least one year and prior wait server experience. Essential certifications include food safety and, preferably, alcohol beverage certification, alongside being of legal age to serve alcohol.
