About the Role
Hawthorn Woods Country Club is seeking a professional, organized, and service-oriented Locker Room Attendant/Manager to provide an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-organized locker room while delivering outstanding personalized service. The ideal candidate takes pride in attention to detail, anticipates member needs, and helps create the high level of hospitality expected at a private country club.
Essential Responsibilities
Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the locker room, restrooms, showers, and lounge areas throughout the day.
Manage member lockers, including assignments, organization, and routine maintenance.
Coordinate shoe cleaning, golf bag storage, and valet services as requested.
Ensure towels, toiletries, and other locker room amenities are fully stocked and presented to club standards.
Assist members with golf-related needs before and after their rounds.
Monitor locker room supplies and communicate inventory needs to management.
Provide exceptional member service by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
Assist with tournament and special event preparation, including locker assignments, welcome gifts, and player amenities.
Communicate effectively with the Golf Shop, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance teams to ensure a seamless member experience.
Follow all club policies regarding cleanliness, safety, and member privacy.
Perform opening and closing procedures for the locker room.
Handle lost and found items according to club procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by club management.
Qualifications
Previous hospitality, country club, golf, or customer service experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and member service.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the golf season.
