Position Title: Fitness Front Desk Attendant
Reports To: Fitness Center Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Houston Country Club is seeking a dynamic and well-organized Hospitality Concierge professional to join our Fitness & Wellness team. If you’re seeking a challenging opportunity that offers enrichment and a supportive work environment - then we are ready for you!
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
• Welcome members & guests upon entrance to the Fitness & Wellness building and confirm reservations for service appointments.
• Be the point of reference for?members & guests?who need assistance or more information on what the Fitness & Wellness Department offers.
• Understand members’ needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the club to best meet their requests and needs.
• Acquire extensive knowledge of the club premises and venues to make the most suitable recommendations.
• Periodically inspects group fitness classrooms, locker rooms, treatment rooms, saunas, maintains building order and cleanliness.
• Proven experience as Concierge; experience in customer service or relevant role is a plus.
• Take pride in your personal Fitness & Wellness.
• Satisfy all requests to be completed as per the Fitness Concierge Supervisor.

Requirement: Pre-Employment Drug Screening
Certifications: Adult First Aid, CPR/AED.
Requirements
Required Education:
• Formal education, preferably in Hospitality Management, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Undergraduate Degree a plus.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment is preferred.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Jonas Club Management Software a plus.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be polite and confident with a great deal of patience.
• Must have strong multitasking and time-management skills.
• Must have the competency and aptitude in resolving issues with a customer-focused orientation.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and/or overtime if needed.
• Must have an outgoing and lively personality.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers as requested/needed.
