<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused <strong>Assistant Golf Professional</strong> to join our team. The ideal candidate combines strong teaching ability with hands-on golf shop experience, and brings a genuine passion for hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for members, guests, and staff alike.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>Instruction & Player Development</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver individual and group golf lessons for players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced</li>
<li>Design and lead junior golf programs, clinics, and camps</li>
<li>Help develop and promote instructional packages and lesson programs</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Golf Shop Operations</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening/closing procedures</li>
<li>Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service to members and guests</li>
<li>Manage point-of-sale transactions, merchandise displays, and inventory</li>
<li>Handle tee time bookings, tournament sign-ups, and member inquiries</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Customer Service & Culture</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Greet all members and guests warmly, creating a positive first impression</li>
<li>Foster a fun, welcoming, and professional environment for staff and patrons</li>
<li>Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally</li>
<li>Support a collaborative, upbeat team culture within the golf operations staff</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Tournament & Event Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist in organizing and running golf tournaments and events</li>
<li>Support outing coordination, scoring, and pace-of-play management</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>PGA/LPGA Associate or Member (or actively pursuing certification) preferred</li>
<li>Prior experience teaching golf lessons to a range of skill levels</li>
<li>Previous experience working in a golf shop or retail environment</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Customer-service mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude</li>
<li>Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed</li>
<li>Proficiency with golf shop POS systems and tee sheet software a plus</li>
