Part Time Cook

Arnold’s Golf Course & Sports Bar is looking for a part-time cook to join our team! We’re a fun, fast-paced spot that values hospitality, teamwork, and great food. The ideal candidate is someone who’s comfortable handling both the kitchen and bar during slower times and enjoys creating a welcoming experience for our guests. What We’re Looking For: Experience with short-order or bar-style cooking preferred Friendly, dependable, and guest-focused attitude Ability to multitask between kitchen and bar during slower shifts Weekend & Holiday availability required Team player who thrives in a casual, community-driven atmosphere QUALIFICATIONS: SERVE-SAFE CERTIFICATION IS A PLUS Must have at least one year experience as a cook in the food and beverage industry. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a some-times fast-paced environment time management skills to ensure efficient service A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Consistency in food preparation, following food safety protocols, cleanliness and sanitation standards. Reading a Prep Sheet/ Following Recipes Cooking on both a Flat Top Grill and Open Flame Gas Grills Maintaining a Neat, Clean, Organized and Stocked bar area / work area Being a Team Player Being Self-Motivated and able to work independently. Assist with cleaning and keeping the kitchen organized. Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment Assists in maintaining inventory / stock. Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed. Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management. Communicates guest requests and concerns to management. Performs opening and closing duties which include but are not limited to: kitchen area, restocking. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Follow all health and safety regulations.
