PART TIME SERVERS
Orinda Country Club prides ourselves with our long tenured staff that provided exceptional service to our highly engaged membership. We are a non-tipping Club; this allows our staff to earn a guaranteed wage with set pay each pay period so you don’t have to be reliant on cash tips. This model is standard in the Club industry and allows for top level service day in and day out. Instead of working for minimum wage plus tips, our compensation is significantly higher, based upon experience.
We are looking for a professional, high-energy Servers to join our team, bartending experience a plus! Must be able to work in the evenings, Wednesdays through Sundays.
Pay range $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Essential Responsibilities:
Attend to members upon entrance
Knowledge of Superior service by providing timely service standards, drink orders, menu selection and upselling
Present menus and help members select food/beverages
Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
Collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
Promote dedication from members
Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge of menus and membership
Performing serving duties at banquet events: carrying trays, setting up for events, serving guests, and cleaning up after the event.
Informs members and guests of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, major ingredients and quality standards, taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, garnish and method of presentation.
Monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
Applicants should be able to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented and courteous. We expect a team player attitude for this position.
Requirements for all positions:
Must be a team player, punctual, and reliable.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including mornings/days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Hours are subject to change based on seasonal needs.
At least two (2) years of experience preferred in a related position working in a high-end or high-volume, fine dining restaurant or hotel.

High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
