Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting merchandise that meets their needs.
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop environment, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
Utilize retail math to manage inventory levels effectively and assist with pricing items.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and promote special offers.
Communicate product knowledge clearly to customers, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.
Ensure compliance with all company policies regarding sales transactions and customer service standards.
Skills
Proficiency in basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide accurate change.
Experience with cash registers or POS systems is preferred.
Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with customers.
Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is advantageous but not required.
A genuine interest in golf or familiarity with golf equipment is beneficial for engaging customers effectively.
