Job Overview
The Grounds Crew Member plays an important role in maintaining the overall appearance, quality, and playability of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This position involves a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, landscaping, irrigation work, bunker maintenance, debris cleanup, and general groundskeeping duties. Team members will operate landscaping equipment, power tools, and hand tools while working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Duties
- Mow greens, tees, fairways, rough, and other turf areas
- Perform trimming, edging, weed control, and general landscape maintenance
- Assist with irrigation system inspection, repair, and sprinkler adjustments
- Maintain bunkers, cart paths, and surrounding course areas
- Operate landscaping equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with seeding, fertilizing, aerating, and other turf maintenance practices
- Remove debris, leaves, and trash to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Support daily golf course setup and general groundskeeping responsibilities
- Follow safety procedures and assist with equipment care and maintenance
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to complete daily tasks
Requirements
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk for extended periods of time and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to squat, bend, and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions carefully
- Prior landscaping, grounds maintenance, or golf course experience is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
