Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Golf Club Food and Beverage Manager to lead our culinary and hospitality operations at our private golf club located in Ringoes, NJ. In this dynamic role, you will oversee all food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional quality, customer satisfaction, and efficient management of staff and resources. Your leadership will create a welcoming atmosphere where members and guests enjoy outstanding dining experiences, whether casual or fine dining, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and operational excellence. This position manages staff, controls costs, and enhances the overall club experience, including tournaments, outings, and private events. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills in a vibrant hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
• Oversee daily clubhouse dining, bar, and banquet operations.
• Coordinate food and beverage services for golf tournaments, outings, and special events.
• Supervise, train, and schedule front-of-the-house staff.
• Ensure exceptional member and guest service experiences.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, budgets, and profitability.
• Collaborate with chefs on menu planning and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Handle member feedback and resolve service issues promptly.
• Develop promotions and events to increase member engagement and revenue.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3-7+ years of food and beverage management experience, preferably in a club or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and member service skills.
• Knowledge of banquet and event operations.
• Financial management experience including budgeting and cost control.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management.
Work Environment
This position is based at a private golf club and involves both indoor clubhouse operations and outdoor event coordination. The role requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak golf season!
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
