The Legacy Golf Course Maintenance Team is looking for Set-Up Staff for our 2026 summer season! Step onto the course each morning as part of the Golf Course Set-Up Staff, where you'll play a crucial role in creating an unforgettable golfing experience! Cup Cutter: Relocate golf holes daily with precision and creativity to keep the course fresh and engaging. Plug Replacement: Expertly extract and replace turf plugs to promote rapid healing. Strategic Placement: Ensure perfect hole placement—one flagstick length from the edge, three feet from breaks, and away from ball marks. Tees Management: Set tees 5 paces apart in healthy areas for optimal play. Tee and Hardware Management: Reposition tee markers and keep facilities clean and welcoming. Mowing Wizardry: Operate a triplex reel mower to maintain ultra-low turf heights, safeguarding the greens' quality. Maintenance: Repair ball marks and clear debris to ensure a pristine putting area. Bunker Champion: Ensure smooth, USGA-standard bunkers, using hand tools to maintain neat edges and clear debris for an uninterrupted play experience. Surface Preparation: Smooth out any imperfections and keep the surrounding turf immaculate. After completing your primary tasks, dive into exciting second assignments like landscaping and maintenance. Every day presents new opportunities! As a final touch, ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned and returned to their proper places before the day ends.

Typically requires pre-dawn start times ( e.g., 5:45 AM-7am ) to complete setup before the first tee time.Involves frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, walking on uneven terrain, and working in inclement weather.Highly active role requiring constant walking, raking, and bending on sloped, uneven surfaces.Requires a \"player's eye\" to spot and repair divots or ball marks that could affect playability.Involves constant walking, bending, and lifting while transporting tools via a utility vehicle.Must work quickly and efficiently ahead of play, often starting in the early morning hours to finish all 18 greens before the first golfers arrive.Make sure that the shop and breakroom areas are kept up to the clean and safe standards of the NRMC.Eligibility: 14+ years oldEarly morning Availability including Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays.Ability to lift 50lbsReliable TransportationPositive attitudeValid driver’s license (a plus)Must be at least 16 years old to operate mowing equipment (14/15 years old can work with restricted hours and limited equipment operation)Strong attention to detailAbility to work in all weather conditionsAbility to work early mornings (start time 6am)Must be able to work independently or as a teamThis is a seasonal position ranging from April 1st to November 1st.You must be willing to work early mornings and weekends as we prepare the course for day-to-day operation!Benefits
