Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Superintendent, The Club at Cordillera, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty, playability, and overall health of our premier golf course. You will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee daily operations, coordinate maintenance activities, and uphold the highest standards of course quality. Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing landscape maintenance, turf care, and gardening projects to ensure the course remains pristine and inviting
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities including lawn care, tree care, irrigation systems, and general landscaping tasks
Lead a team of groundskeepers and maintenance staff by providing clear direction, training, and support to foster a productive work environment
Oversee construction projects related to course improvements or renovations, ensuring safety standards and quality benchmarks are met
Monitor and maintain all equipment related to landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, and general maintenance for optimal performance
Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair and implement timely solutions
Collaborate with the Superintendent on scheduling, budgeting, and implementing best practices for horticulture and landscape management
Qualifications
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or turf management within a golf course or similar setting
Strong supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams of groundskeeping or maintenance staff
Knowledge of lawn care techniques, horticulture practices, tree care, irrigation systems, and general gardening principles
Familiarity with construction processes related to course improvements or renovations
Ability to perform physical tasks such as mowing, planting, pruning, and equipment operation over extended periods
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining course quality standards
Relevant certifications or training in horticulture, landscaping, or turf management are preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
