Detroit Golf Club is seeking a motivated and service-driven Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf operations at a highly active, member-focused private club. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE Passion for service, golf operations, and instruction Strong communicator with members and staff Team-oriented and detail-focused Comfortable in a high-volume, private club environment Experience Required Class A is preferred but will consider others with high end club experience Exceptional customer service skills Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills Proficient in Microsoft & Golf Genius. Club Essentials is a plus Instructor to players of all levels. Trackman/Flightscope experience is helpful Playing ability is a plus Private country club experience preferred Essential Responsibilities Partner closely with the Director of Golf on all areas of golf operations Support a large and active Ladies' golf program Deliver high-level instruction using modern teaching technologies Provide outstanding service and professional guidance in the golf shop Manage daily play in coordination with outside operations staff Assist with tournaments, events, and member functions Promote Club programs and initiatives Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Play golf with members when appropriate Benefits Complimentary Meals in Employee Café Employee Social Events Uniforms Playing and Practice Privileges PGA/LPGA Dues Paid
