Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummary (Essential Functions): The golf course maintenance worker is responsible for mowing grass on the tee boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes and greens; sodding; trimming. He/She will use equipment such as mowers, rollers, bunker rakes, carts, and a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools.
Details: Job tasks include, but are not limited to:
Mow grass and trim weeds and hedges using mowers, weed trimmers, and other toolsMaintain greens, fairways, cart paths, and all adjacent Golf Course property, utilizing the following equipmentBackpack blowers, string trimmers, edgers, and push mowersSmall- to mid-size riding mowing equipmentGreens rollerSod-cutting machineGolf utility vehiclesCommonly used hand toolsQualifications: Qualified candidates will possess landscaping experience, working knowledge of various lawn/ground equipment, a strong customer service orientation, and attention to detail and some knowledge of the game of golf. Candidate must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, holidays, and weekends, with occasional overtime during golf season.

** Sign-on Bonus: After 6 months of service, employees receive sign-on bonuses as follows:
35+ hrs/wk - $1000
21 - 35 hrs/wk - $500
1 - 20 hrs/wk - $250
