About the Role
Overview Saticoy Regional Golf Course is located 35 miles south of Santa Barbara and 60 miles north of Los Angeles. With easy access off Highway 126, this 9-hole, 2,700-yard, par 34 course sits near the Ventura hillsides with views of the Ojai Topa Mountains from every hole. Saticoy’s fairly flat layout makes it an excellent choice for beginners, while its small greens and 16 bunkers on seven different holes keeps it challenging for all golfers.
The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the product quality, agronomic management and daily maintenance of the golf course, clubhouse grounds and driving range. As superintendent at Saticoy Regional Golf Club, you will be communicating directly with the General Manager and Regional Support Team.
Responsibilities Maintain the golf course in proper playing condition according to Company standards Ability and confidence to communicate challenges/issues quickly and accurately with Maintenance Team, General Manager, and Regional Support Team. Implement the approved maintenance plan and adhere to the budget Direct and supervise the maintenance of greens, fairways, tees, sand traps, bodies of water, roughs, maintenance shop and grounds, cart maintenance, and clubhouse grounds Create and support a high-performance team while maintaining a positive, safe, and enjoyable work environment Recruit, train, develop, and manage staff Identify and address safety issues immediately Conduct monthly safety meeting/training with maintenance staff Maintain accurate records to track labor costs, maintenance expenses, projects, equipment repair, safety, and fertilizer, chemical, and pest control practices within city, state and federal guidelines Identify, implement, and approve capital improvements
Salary: USD 43200 - 72000 per year
