Boulder Country Club is looking for a skilled and motivated Banquet Chef to lead our banquet kitchen in the newly renovated clubhouse. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality food for events, leading the kitchen team, and making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and prepare food for banquet events in a high-volume setting
Lead, train, and support kitchen staff to help them grow and succeed
Work closely with the Catering Director to plan and execute upcoming events
Assign tasks clearly while also helping with cooking and service as needed
Make sure all food meets the Club’s quality and presentation standards
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and in line with food safety rules
Qualifications
At least 2 years of kitchen management experience, preferably in banquet or high-volume settings
Experience handling large events with strong attention to detail
Strong leadership skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
Culinary degree preferred (Associate’s or higher)
ServSafe certification required
Must have reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year, plus quarterly performance bonuses
