Job TitleCaddie DepartmentGolf Services LocationFairfield, Texas StatusFull-Time and Part-Time Pay ClassGratuity-Based with strong earning potential based on experience, availability, level of service Work ScheduleFlexible Supervisory RoleNo Reports ToHead or Assistant Golf Professional Walking Caddie Responsibilities Carry two golf bags for 18 holes while maintaining appropriate pace of play Provide accurate yardages, green reads, and strategic course guidance Assist players with club selection and course management decisions Clean golf clubs and golf balls throughout the round Rake bunkers, replace divots, and repair ball marks to maintain course conditions Anticipate player needs and deliver personalized, attentive service Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and communication at all times Build strong relationships with members and guests to enhance the overall experience Forecaddie Responsibilities Accompany groups during play without carrying golf bags Run ahead of play to track shots and assist in efficiently locating golf balls Provide yardages, green reads, and course strategy support Help maintain pace of play and ensure smooth flow on the course Tend flagsticks when requested and assist around greens Repair ball marks, rake bunkers, and support overall course conditioning Deliver high-level hospitality and create a memorable golf experience Communicate professionally with players, golf staff, and fellow caddies Qualifications Strong knowledge of the game of golf preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be physically fit and able to walk or run multiple rounds in varying weather conditions Walking caddies must be capable of carrying two golf bags for extended periods Forecaddies must be able to jog or run ahead of play while maintaining awareness of shot tracking and group pace Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong attention to detail Weekend and holiday availability required Prior caddie or golf operations experience is a plus, but not required Compensation Compensation is primarily gratuity-based, with strong earning potential dependent on experience, availability, and level of service provided.
