About the Role
Salary Range: $16.90/hr – Minimum Wage Position Plus Tips. The Pool Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to pool guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. The individual is also responsible for receiving and delivering guests orders and collecting payment.
Essential Functions
Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
Serve guests according to the resort’s standards in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
Have a thorough knowledge of the Pool Food and Beverage Menu.
Respond to guest problems, complaints, and accidents. Communicate to management, if necessary.
Set the order up according to resort standards.
Ensure Pool side stations are clean and organized.
Follow all money handling procedures when serving the guest.
Know and use “suggestive selling” techniques.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
Previous serving experience is a must.
In compliance with California Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
Working Conditions and Schedule
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Medium work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Must be able to stand during entire shift.
Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours.
Must be able to work in hot weather.
