Duties
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep grounds looking their best.
Operate ground maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, chainsaws, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
Maintain athletic fields by aerating, fertilizing, and overseeding to ensure optimal playing conditions.
Manage irrigation systems by adjusting timers, repairing leaks, and troubleshooting issues to promote healthy turf growth.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform necessary maintenance or repairs to ensure reliable operation.
Assist with pesticide management by applying treatments following safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Support heavy lifting tasks using manual handling techniques or appropriate tools for transporting soil, plants, or equipment.
Qualifications
Prior experience with golf course groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, power tool safety, and equipment maintenance is essential.
Ability to operate landscaping machinery including chainsaws, lawn mowers, and company vehicles responsibly.
Strong understanding of lawn care practices such as fertilization, aeration, and pest control.
Physical stamina for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Familiarity with gardening techniques and general groundskeeping procedures will set you apart.
Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles preferred.
