ASSISTANT GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT - MONTCLAIR GOLF CLUB

Montclair Golf Club located in West Orange, New Jersey is seeking a career minded, high energy individual, with a proven work history to join their team as an Assistant Superintendent. This position has a strong management component to it and is an excellent opportunity for those who would like to manage large crews, projects and be involved with new technology. Club Highlights Newly installed 5 row Toro irrigation system with Lync Central (2017) and new vertical turbine pump system (2024) capable of pumping 4500 GPM. Green Dept. Staff size: 35-40 full, part time and seasonal (March through November), 15 off season 36 holes with bent/poa greens (14 Acres), bent poa fairways (72 acres) and 007 bentgrass tees (4 acres). We are proud of our continued investment in emerging technologies, utilizing autonomous mowing equipment in various applications throughout the property, GPS sprayer technology and Turfrad moisture sensor technology. Initial Priorities of Position Apply pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers as directed to maintain excellent condition of grounds and golf course. Compile reports of pesticide, herbicide and fertilizer use on the golf course and calculate use rates for all products applied on the property. Work within a high energy, efficient and focused management team to achieve goals as set forth by the Director of Golf Course Operations.
