We are currently hiring for a Golf Pro Shop Supervisor.
Golf Pro Shop Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the pro shop, ensuring smooth retail operations and exceptional customer service. This includes managing sales, inventory, staff, and financial transactions, while also assisting with tournaments and events. The supervisor also maintains a clean and organized pro shop environment and fosters positive relationships with members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily Operations: Opening and closing the pro shop, managing daily sales, and ensuring proper cash handling and reporting.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, assisting with merchandise selection and answering inquiries.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory, stocking merchandise, and inventory counts.
• Staff Management: Training and supervising pro shop staff and delegating tasks.
• Event Coordination: Assisting with tournaments and other golf-related events.
• Pro Shop Maintenance: Ensuring the pro shop is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Skills And Qualifications
• Golf Knowledge: Knowledge of the game of golf is helpful.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain an organized work environment.
• Retail Experience: Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: Experience in leading and supervising a team.
• Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial transactions.
