Duties & Responsibilities To follow policies and schedules for the operation in the kitchen facility.
To assist in looking for new and profitable ways to better serve the guests.
To assist in ensuring the cleanliness of the facility is of the highest priority, making sure that the reputation of the service is maintained at all times.
To help in the coordination of all events and activities with the operating departments of the Golf Course in order to provide the best possible service to the guests.
Following standardized recipes set forth by management.
Ensure any customer complaints are handled efficiently and tactfully.
At all times, present a favorable image.
Qualifications High School Diploma
Culinary School Degree preferred
2 Years proven experience in the food industry (restaurant and banquet arenas)
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Passion for cooking and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences
Neat and present a professional appearance at all times
Excellent communication skills
Working Conditions Employee must be able to lift/handle up to 20 lbs.
Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
Work night and weekends
Physical activity including long periods of standing, walking, bending
