Responsibilities
Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, chainsaws, power tools, and irrigation systems to keep fairways, greens, and surrounding landscapes in top condition
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, fertilizing, aerating, and mowing to enhance course aesthetics and playability
Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds for hazards or maintenance needs; perform manual handling tasks like heavy lifting to move soil, sand, or equipment as required
Assist with general gardening, landscaping, and groundskeeping to uphold high standards of course presentation
Requirements
Prior experience with golf course groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued
Knowledge of power tool safety protocols
Ability to operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers
Strong manual handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting and physical activity throughout the workday
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of course quality
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
